I know that I'm not the only one who feels like the weekly routine of "life" gets a little boring sometimes. You go to work, pick up the kids, come home, make dinner/DoorDash (haha), give the kids a bath and go to bed. Same thing..... every day.
Yesterday evening, I was at the point where, for my mental health, I just needed to get out and do something different. It's always nice when you can find a place to go that pleases everyone in the family- food, fun, entertainment, ect. After a few minutes of "Googling", I came across Creekside Knox. It's basically a bougie Food Truck Park with TVs and a playground! We thought we would give it a try!
Y'ALL. What a fun experience! There were 3 or 4 food trucks to chose from and a Snow Cone truck. Not only that, it also had a restaurant called The Back Alley. We had the Pickled BBQ Truck, and it was MOUTHWATERING good. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the entire area. They had bathrooms, lounge couches, fire pit areas laying in front of 3 large TVs. Oh, and GUESS WHAT? We happened to go on a night that they offered Karaoke!!!!
After we ate, listened to a few people sing- our son got a Snow Cone and we watched him on the playground. Literally.... a perfect evening! It was super kid-friendly and family oriented- we will definitely be back. I know they offer some form of entertainment throughout the week- Karaoke, Trivia, Music. On the weekend, we saw signs that they offer Comedy shows and LIVE Music on the weekend- which would be fantastic for a date night.
Our 4 year old son kept saying, "I LOVE this place!" haha!
The next time you are in the weekly life "dullness" of your routine, check this place out. You won't regret it!
